Tools and Models

You can download some of the tools and models developed by my group. If you find them interesting and useful, please be kind enough to cite the relevant papers.

  • LineCableLab: MATLAB toolbox for modelling of overhead transmission lines, including per-unit-length parameters, wave propagation characteristics, frequency scans and transient simulations.
  • Hybrid FD/TD: MATLAB implementation of the Hybrid FD/TD method for the identification of oscillatory modes. Documentation can be found in Paper J6 of publication list.
  • SIEMToolbox: The System Identification & Equivalent Models Toolbox developed in the MATLAB programming language (R2017a). Documentation can be found here. The toolbox can be launched by typing main_gui at the MATLAB command line. Please note that older versions of MATLAB might yield errors.
  • Microgrid Power Flow: Power flow analysis of the LV Cigre European network under islanding conditions. Documentation for the algorithm and the examined network can be found here, here and in Paper J16 of publication list. Please note that before executing the code, a proper installation of the opensource OpenDSS software is needed, which can be downloaded from here.
